Lampworking Classes
Working with the torch and glass rod making
marbles, beads,
sculptures, flowers and other artistic items.
This full day class offers lots of practice time, maximum six students.
You can schedule any day of the
week
from 9:00am to 4:00pm with a lunch break.
Please indicate the date you prefer when you register.
Demonstrations include making marbles, beads, stringers, twisted cane
and other components. Also dots, feathering, casing over, etc.

Lampwork 1
The beginners class starts with the introduction of tools and safety.
Lighting the torch, I will demo a marble showing where to work in the flame,
correct heating, adding color and transferring the marble.
Next we will prepare the mandrel for a bead, lay on the core,
decorate, shape and anneal.
Lampwork 2
This is an intermediate class which covers more advanced techniques
such as component encasement, color blending, flowers and more.
We will be working with a 104 C.O.E. soda-lime
glass.
All tools and supplies are provided.
Tuition for Lampwork 1 is $100.00 per person for the day
and Lampwork 2 is $125.00
